Applesauce Granola Quinoa Squares 

These squares are the life of the sweet tooth party! This is a one bowl recipe and is a breeze to make.

Perfect for treats and packed lunches.

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups of unsweetened applesauce
2 cups of Special K Nourish* Dark Chocolate Coconut Popped Granola with Quinoa
1 cup of granola mix with raisins
1/2 cup of flour 
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil
1 tablespoon of smooth peanut butter
1 bag of black vanilla flavour Candy Melts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit                    

  2. Add all dry and then all wet ingredients to a large mixing bowl and combine

  3. Lightly grease a glass baking dish ( I used a 9 x 6.5" antique Pyrex dish)Spoon mixture into dish and press down to spread evenly. 

  4. Bake in oven until edges are browning, approximately 15-20 minutes

  5. Place on counter and allow to cool

  6. Melt the Candy Melts in a microwave at high heat for 30 second increments until all are melted and ready to pour

  7. Once the granola has cooled, pour the Candy Melts over the baked granola. and cool in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares
