Blackberry Ice
Beat the heat of Summer by enjoying this easy-to-make and healthy treat for you and your kids! Blackberries are rich in anti-oxidants, fiber, vitamins C & E and help to relieve the symptoms of PMS as well as aiding in weight loss.
Blackberry Ice is refreshingly cool!
Ingredients

1 pint of blackberries(2 cups/12 oz./approx. 35 blackberries)

3 cups of water

1/2 cup of water
Instructions

Rinse berries in colander

Add 2 cups of water and berries to a microwave safe bowl

Microwave on high for 2 minutes and then remove and stir

Repeat process two more times for 1 minute each time

Remove and strain berries through a sieve, removing all seeds

Add the juice and pulp to a large freezer safe bowl, stir in sugar

Add 1 cup of water and blend, set in the freezer overnight
-
Next day: Remove and using a large spoon shave scoops of ice into a glass
