BLT Wraps

Ingredients

  • Recipe makes two wraps

  • 2 10" flour tortillas

  • 1 small tomato

  • 1 full Romaine lettuce leaf per wrap

  • 6 strips of cooked bacon

  • 1 tbsp of Hellman's Mayonnaise

  • 1/4 tsp of dry mustard

  • 1/4 tsp of  black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp of apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Place bacon strips on a microwave safe plate between 4 sheets of paper towel.  Cook on high for 2-4 minutes in the microwave, depending on your type of microwave.  You want crisp bacon for the wraps.

  2.  Wash tomato and lettuce in a colander then shake off excess water and blot dry.

  3. Thin slice the tomato then cut each slice in half.

  4. Place tortillas on a microwave safe plate and cook for 10 seconds.  You want a soft and flexible wrap.

  5. Mix together the mayonnaise, dry mustard, black pepper and apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.

  6. Spread half of the mayonnaise mixture onto each tortilla, covering all but the width of a finger around the outer edges.

  7. Place one full lettuce leaf about a quarter of the way onto the wrap and top the leaf with 1/2 of the tomato slices and 1/2 of the bacon.

  8. Fold the edge of the tortilla over the leaf then fold over the side edges and roll tight to cover all edges, cut wrap in half at the center point and serve or wrap and refrigerate for later. Repeat for second wrap.

  9. For a mayonnaise free version simply use your favorite salad dressing.
