Canmore
Road trip! We rented a car to head out from Calgary to stay overnight in Lake Louise. The foothills are fabulous to see but once you pull into Canmore you have to stop to get a good view of the peaks of this Canadian Rockies mountain range! It is no surprise to find out that the view that you were ogling on the drive in to Canmore is known as the Three Sisters and is a large tourist draw for Canmore.
Banff was swarming with tourists but Canmore was less crowded and very charming!
The juicy burgers at The Grizzly Paw Pub & Brewing Company are cheeseburger perfection! The restaurant gets very busy and the service was a bit slow but the meal was worth the wait. The fresh mountain air and time we spent strolling the streets of Canmore made us all extra hungry and the burgers were needed. It was the right spot to stop on our way to Lake Louise.
It's hard not to fall in love with the view in Canmore! The town has a very laid back vibe.
