Christmas Sangria 

This recipe adds the taste of Christmas to your cup of cheer.  You will need 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 tangerine, half of a cup of cranberries, half of a cup of sugar, a 750 ml bottle of a dry red wine, 3 ounces of French brandy, 1 litre of ginger ale and another litre of soda water.  Peel and section the tangerine then dredge each piece in the sugar then do the same for the cranberries.  Add the 2 cinnamon sticks, the tangerine slices and the cranberries to your pitcher and pour in the entire bottle of red wine, 4 ounces of brandy and stir.  Cover the sangria and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours. Before serving, mix in equal parts ginger ale and soda water then stir.  Let's get Merry!!
