You are a team of two.  There is no greater bond than that of a devoted couple.  Becoming parents is an extension of this bond and eventually your children will grow and move on to create their own lives.  You and your partner are together, forever. 

 

Forever does not seem long enough at times.  Enjoy each other, learn together, grow as individuals and pull each other up, lean on each other for support.  Be each other's confidante, sounding board, cheer leader and toughest critic. 

 

Be fair to each other and considerate of each other's quirks.  Be the shoulder to lean on, the hand to hold and the protection from the storm.  Life is tough.  Have fun, celebrate together, cherish the memories that you are building, reminisce and remind each other of all that is good.  Reflect on the positive and laugh together, play together.  Be silly and be adventurous.

 

   Finding someone that can be everything to you, for you and with you a blessing.  Was Lady Fortune smiling upon us, definitely, but we believe in making our own luck.  Relationships are all about work. 

 

Never take for granted what the other thinks.  Ask, communicate and share your thoughts, your hopes, your fears and your dreams and never stop talking to each other. 

 

Let nothing and no one interfere in your relationship.  No one should have the power to divide or separate you in any way. 

 

Never give up on each other.  Persevere through the hard times and encourage each other at all times.
