Remembrance Day

Lest We Forget

Canadians observe Remembrance Day, November 11th, in honour of the soldiers that fought and fight to protect our country and other commonwealth nations since World War I.  We must never forget the sacrifice made by so many to ensure our freedom.  To forget the fallen soldier is to forget the mistakes of the past and that true evil must be fought always or we run the risk of allowing it to grow unfettered, jeopardizing our freedoms and our rights.  Teach your children and grandchildren the meaning behind the poppy you pin on them, today, so that the soldiers that have and do make these sacrifices are honoured forever.
