5 Classic Bedtime Stories and Board Games for Tots

an open book

When I was a child I loved the stories written about Peter Rabbit and Winnie the Pooh. The Golden Books were treasured favorites. I made sure to read my girls "Charlotte's Web" and "Stories of a Fourth Grade Nothing" and of Peter's brother Farley aka "Fudge"

The one story that was requested by the girls time and again was "The Short Tree and the Bird That Could Not Sing". The girls loved that book the best because I would read the bird's lines with an English accent and the tree's lines with a Brooklyn accent, at least my best impression of those accents.
