Toronto
Toronto is my original hometown. It's personal. I know my way around the city like it is my own backyard. Toronto is memories. history and family. From the never ending entertainment, day and night, to the incredible gastronomic eating experiences, this city never fails to provide you with excitement.
Go iceskating on Christmas Eve at Nathan Phillips Square or a take a trip to the Science Centre or to the Metro Toronto Zoo. Casa Loma's secret passageways, tunnels and hiding spots are fun for both young and old. The CN Tower tour is a definite thrill!
Shop at the Kensington Market then stroll along Front Street to check out the antique stores or take a ferry to Centre Island for a picnic. Yonge Street is always bustling with activity and the shopping is great!
Toronto has a long history as the most productive and prosperous city in Canada. Toronto has grown literally from ashes to thrive and has survived war and flooding. Today's economy and politicians are just a blip on history's radar screen. Toronto will prosper again.
The city has been known by many nicknames like Hogtown, Muddy York and the 416 or T.O. but to me it was and always will be just home.
