Vancouver
We have re-located to Burnaby and are central to Vancouver and the surrounding cities. The public transit system is comprised of the skytrain, the buses and a seabus. We are making our way around easily. There are even quick flights to Vancouver Island and all over British Columbia.
Stanley Park is huge and there is plenty to do at the park to keep you busy for the whole day. The Vancouver Aquarium is located inside the park and houses the famous hand holding otters. Strolling the seawall provides a great opportunity to discover sea treasures!
Beach Combing 101
Vancouver is a tourist's dream location. There is everything imaginable under the sun to do in this city! From the sea to the sky there is entertainment in the shape of festivals, theater, dining, touring the city as well as the harbor, parades, sporting events and races as well as farmer's markets, flea markets, antique markets and even visiting the Granville Island Market.
It is overwhelmingly expensive to live in the city of Vancouver. The rents are exorbitant, the prices of homes are out of this world and the shopping is over priced. It's tough even to find bargains online. However, like anywhere, you have to put in the extra effort to find those deals...it's just tougher.
