Having an adventurous spirit requires curiosity.
People on a quest to expand their horizons will seek out adventure wherever they can find it. Those who venture forth usually possess a need for exposure to new stimuli. They want to absorb new sights, sounds, languages, cultures and expand their knowledge of the world outside of their original confines.
They are restless people who need the challenge of change.
There are those who have boldly gone where no one has gone before. Lewis and Clarke, Sir Edmund Hillary and Neil Armstrong are all famous for their expeditions and for being trailblazers.

Some travelers save their funds and take frequent vacations to new locales while others take their jobs on the road via laptop. However they finance their travels, adventurers all experience the thrill of taking a chance.

It is easy to become mired in our daily routine and forget to try new things.
Expand your horizons by developing a "travel wish list".

The funny thing about lists is that once you actually start to do some of the things on them it empowers you to complete the other items on the list so do not be afraid to dream big.

My first wish lists were just pieces of paper marking pages in the Sears Christmas catalog. I loved flipping through that catalog and dreaming. I never got my Easy Bake oven but I loved wishing for it possibly more than I would have the actual ownership.
It's good to add things to your list that seem impossible to have because if you are unable to complete the list you will still have something left to wish for, like an Easy Bake oven.
What new adventure would you like to take?

What are you curious about?

Is there something you would like to experience?

Are there skills that you would like to acquire?

A place you want to visit?

A chance you want to take?
Add it all to your wish list and then one at a time start making your own wishes come true!

Deep down inside you know exactly what you have to do to make your wishes a reality. It usually involves action, some hard work, lots of determination but most of all it requires desire.
Start with the easier wishes, get help when you need it but persevere and eventually you will gain some traction and then before you know it you will have had some amazing adventures!
