A Month of Love
Make Cinnamon Cherry Floats
Fill your February with love! We have lots of easy arts & crafts projects, sweet treats and family fun time planned and ready to share with you!
Our plan is to beat those February blahs and make this an exciting time for everyone.
Create your February Calendar and add something to do each day of the month. This year is a Leap Year so we are blessed with an additional day of love-ly planned fun!
DAY ONE started with a trip to a second-hand store to look for inexpensive items. I needed a chocolate fondue set and was lucky to find one for less than $5.
Fill the rest of the "Month of Love" with some of these fun activities;
Decorate your bedroom door with heart-shaped door handle wreaths and heart shaped doorway spinners
Make rice filled sock warmers to keep your bed warm and soothe away the days aches and pains
Watch romantic movies
Read classic tales to your children
Craft heart themed bookmarkers
Enjoy family game nights
Have a fun PJ party in the living room
Bake Sweetheart Cookies to share with friends
Make cupcakes and let the kids decorate them with cinnamon hearts & marshmallows and gummy bears
Enjoy some hot chocolate
Make a batch of pink lemonade
Have a chocolate fondue and dip marshmallows, cookies, strawberries and bananas
Have a spa day at home
Create a "fake" chalkboard design for Valentine's day on black construction paper using white crayons
Write a love letter or two
Buy or send flowers
Make breakfast in bed
Make a special supper and decorate the dinner table
Make fruit kabobs
Make chocolate-coated truffles
Play "Hearts"...a fun card game
